A Brief History of the department:

Welcome to the department of Zoology, Asufii Christian Institute. The department is one of the oldest in the college. The department has been offering B.Sc. (Honours) courses since its establishment on 2010. The department has one of the best well-equipped laboratories in the state. At present two well-qualified and experienced faculty are catering to the needs of the students. The department is enthusiastically and wholeheartedly committed to all round development of the students.

Program Educational Objectives:

1)PEO1- Students will be able to demonstrate a broad basic knowledge of the biological sciences.
2)PE02 – Students will be able to demonstrate proficiency of the lab and field techniques in their area of study.
3)PEO3 – Students will be able to demonstrate the skill to assess and analyse data with objectivity.
4)PEO4 –Students will acquire the needed skills and knowledge for their career or professional study in discipline related areas.
5)PEO5- Students will develop a scientific temper.
