Women Cell was established in the month of January, 2021 during the academic year 2020 July-2021 June. The Women Cell is proactively committed to promote safe and conducive academic environment for students to learn and grow. Women cell aims at empowering and orienting women to recognise their true potential and to help them attain their own stand in a competitive world.
Objectives:
- To create awareness of women related social issues, health, employment and gender related
matters.
- To impart knowledge on legal rights of women.
- To educate on gender discrimination and to promote a culture of respect and equality for female Gender.
- To realize the role of women in building up of a healthy society.
Activities:
- Celebration of International Women’s Day.
- Organizing special lectures by women achievers and interaction with students.
- Functioning of a counselling centre.
- Conducting health awareness classes.
